Q10- IMM008E - Current Country of Residence - From Date

Hi, I am a Permanent Resident of Canada and my wife was issue visitor Visa in the month of December 2015. She came to Canada on 22nd Dec 2015 and in between we went to US for 3 days and came back to Toronto on May10th 2016 and there was a new stamp on her passport (i.e, May 10th)

Now while filling the form IMM008E which date do I have to mention on "From" date section

Dec 22nd 2015
OR
May 10th 2016

Please advise, your suggestion is much appreciated.

don't need to put short trip (less than 6 month ) on the form.

one of question ask when is recent entry to Canada, she can put May 10th, 2016 with port of entry.
