A passport is a travel document, because it can be solely used to travel between countries. A visa is generally attached to a page in a passport and, in that form, it is not a travel document -- the passport it is in is the travel document.

There are visas that are also travel documents (one can travel with only the visa), but they are rare and are generally one-time use -- usually issued to stateless persons and refugees.

Use a manager/director/officer you report to (or is in your chain-of-command) or the person in charge of HR, with their contact information. (Do not use a colleague or someone who reports to you.)

.. What do you mean...by that didn't quiet understand. Visa is not a travel document.

I am concerned as I don't have my previous employer's supervisor Contact details. What do I do now?? Please advise...I am unsure if some past employee would be willing to share their work email address.

Can you google the website? If not give a referral to someone who worked there too email address. You should always have the work number you can include that. Search on google.

what do you mean..referral ..? I thought of mentioning general contact email address from the employer website. I haven't been in touch with past supervisor/ employers I worked with . So it's kind of worrying..if I use "Human Resources" for Name of Contact and Email such as info@company name.com and Phone number from website.

My referral i mean co worker.

Using the information off the site is fine thats what ill do. Because for me my old place of work went bankrupt and he will most definitely not answer the phone if called
