I am creating this thread to connect applicants who have a combination of PVO Sydney and SVO Ottawa. I am noticing that applicants with this combination are facing serious delays in their applications, especially with background/security checks. I haven't come across anyone who got their application approved with this combination in a while.

Everything is complete as per the IRCC agent, only security has not started.
