PNPs most of us are assigned to this combination of VOs, and very few lucky PNPs get assigned elsewhere. CEC and FSW I'm not sure what is the logic.
I have the same question! All my friends with Kitchener or Edmonton VO received their COPR 3-5 months after submitting. This is kind of unfair!! My AOR was in December!
It is difficult to say for sure what the status update in the tracker means, but it is possible that it means that the officer responsible for your file has opened it. Another possibility is that the tracker is simply updating to reflect the fact that your file is still in progress.

as I know, most of lawyers say that mandamus is effective after 1,5-2 years. maybe you know someone who takes cases earlier than 1, 5 years after Aor.

Thanks. It turns out my background check was completed the same day as yours according to the tracker, with a GU in my CIC account. I haven't received the portal email yet.
