PVO Etobicoke/SVO Vancouver are slow

Hi all, I am an inland CEC candidate and submitted my application on Nov 18, 2024. Biometrics and medical passed on Jan 06, 2025.

I rang IRCC and initially, my application was PVO Vancouver SVO Sydney, however when I ordered my GCMS notes, my latest PVO is Etobicoke and SVO is Vancouver.

My IRCC tracker shows that biometrics and medical completed. Eligibility and background in progress. Eligibility turned blue (in progress) on Feb 03, 2025. And there is no update since then.

Since I found that many people posted about slow processing of Etobicoke office, and not many people are in this PVO. Can anybody whose visa office is identical share your timeline? And we can track each others timeline, thank you.

Everything is complete except background verification. Security screening has not started yet. Called IRCC and they confirmed that my PVO is Etobicoke and SVO is Vancouver.

Same! but AOR is July 9... been stuck since Oct. 7

Oooh that’s rough. Do GCMS notes mention anything? Did you get an email that your application was transferred to Etobicoke or has it always been your PVO? I read that if your application is transferred to Etobicoke it probably means they need to review your application in more detail. However, there is very little information on this forum about applications with Etobicoke as the pvo.

Hi! Same AOR! When did you pass your eligibility?

I had an update on March 18th. When I checked towards the end of March, my eligibility had been marked as completed. I am assuming the update on March 18th changed my eligibility status. No updates since then. Do you have any updates?

No update now, I ordered gcms notes and my eligibility showed “review required”. I submitted some more documents via Webform and hopefully I can pass the eligibility soon!

Good Luck! If they require more information, they’ll send you an email.
I am the primary anpplicant (cec inland) and I have a dependent (Outland). Not sure if this affects the processing times.
