Hi, everyone!

I am puzzled now about my immigrating application, eager for your help!

Now I am planning to immigrate to Canada in the category of Federal Skilled workers and professionals, and I noticed that this category is for the people who want to settle and work in Canada (outside of Quebec). However, I am working in Quebec as a post doctor with a one-year work permit. I don't know French, and not able to meet the requirement of the category of "Quebec-selected skilled workers".

I want to know if I can submit my application in Federal "Skilled workers and Professionals" same as those working outside Quebec, especialy within the category of "arranged employment option"?

Looking forward to your earlist convenient reply!

Thanks a lot!

So you are working as a Post doctoral researcher in Quebec?

Yes, you can apply in the category of FSW2 with AEO if you qualify. You could also qualify under the NOC 2121 for FSW1 category.

If you have an AEO, you could begin working only after your PR application is approved.
