Hello! My Mother wants to apply for Canadian visitor visa for the first time - regular temporary visitor visa.
What should she put in Purpose of Travel - Other (required) section. The explanation under this section is:
"You must submit proof that you are coming to Canada for a temporary visit.
Examples of what you can provide as proof:
A scanned copy of:
What can she provide in this section? She will be staying with me (this is already mentioned in the Invitation Letter submitted in a designated section). We dont want to book tickets before she gets the visa, as IRCC has long processing times for my Country of Origin (up to 1 year). Would a Letter of Explanation work? My Mother is married to my Father who is not going to Canada with her (he is staying home) and she owns a property at home. She is also retired and receives pension from the Government in her home country. Shall she state all this in her Letter? Do we need to provide any proofs?
Thank you!
