Pune University - WES Credential Evaluation process step by step

Hi Guys,

I am from Pune and I am applying to express entry visa for Canada.
It require my Bachelors and Masters degree to be evaluated from CES or WES.
Both CES and WES requires the transcripts to be send to them directly from University of Pune with a form signed by the registrar.
Until and unless CES or WES gets the documents directly from the university they won't be doing the evaluation.
Has anyone gone through this process as I am not sure pune university send any document directly to third party.
Please help me out with this issue....

Though I have 1 more query with regards to the ECA application of CES.
I am applying in CES for evaluation of my masters and bachelor’s degree.
In the CES website it asks if we need to add another credential for evaluation with extra cost of $210.
Now for my bachelor’s degree evaluation, do I need to add the credentials separately and pay the extra cost?
Or my bachelors and masters will be evaluated in the same application with no extra cost?
Please help me out with this query….

Hi,
I applied online for Transcripts from Pune university.. Then while submitting documents physically my degree certificate was not accepted and removed from documents by them saying transcripts happens only to Statement of Mark sheets and not to degree certificate.
So my WES status still shows requirement for Degree certificate.

Can anybody guide me how to get done with that from Pune University.

I have a few queries:
1. I have my transcripts but I have opened the envelope as I required some photocopies of it. Can I use these transcripts for WES by just getting a sealed envelope from the university?
2. If I go with attestation of mark sheets, should it be semester wise or year wise is good enough?

Attestation is not at all necessary. I had done bachelor of engineering from Pune University and ordered transcripts from them. Got them in a sealed envelope by post at my home and sent the same to WES. Would have been a long process for me to travel to pune just for the attestation. For degree cert you just need to send a copy, no need for attestation as well. Hope it helps.

How long did it take to get those transcripts? I have applied in Aug and still haven't got them. The status online says: "Ready to dispatch" but I haven't still got it. Please help.

As far as I remember I got them within couple of months. That status will change to dispatched. They send via speed post.

I really appreciate you replying. From what I understand you got it in a sealed AND signed envelope, correct? Do you know of any number I could call to check my status. I have tried all the listed number but no one picks up.

Ya I got a sealed and signed envelope, I ordered more than one copy so that I can open one see if it was fine or not. You'll get it soon don't worry. I tried calling as well when the status changed to dispatched, so as to find how they had sent it but as you said no one ever picked up. But I hadn't given ielts till then so I was in no hurry, you might be in a different situation.

You just need to send a clear legible copy of your degree certificate. No need to get it attested from the university.

Hi! I sent my BCom n MBA transcripts from Pune Univ to WES
For Bcom they mentioned 1st yr marks was not in transcripts n resend . Now the thing is I applied for new transcripts the extra copy had the same only and 2 rd & 3rd yr marks .. what can I do since 1st yr marsheet was issued by College( Wadia)

I have made the online payment for 165 x 4 years = 660 Rs. for the transcripts.

1. Do I also require to apply for Degree Certificate ? If yes, can you pls help with the link or what exactly it is called on the website, as I only found link for "Verification of Degree Certificate" in the "Certificate Section".

2. For the transcript, I have requested for 1 copy, as this was asked during filling the online form. Is this correct or I need to order for more copies for submission to WES ?

3. There is no option for no.of envelopes in online form. How and when I need to inform this to University and do I need to pay for this in bank in University only or online payment option is possible ?

4. Are the marksheets for submission to be self-attested or authorised body certifications can be sent to University as I already have such attested copies ?

5. Can I courier all the attested documents and application form, challan etc. to Student Facilitation Centre in Pune University, instead of hand delivery of the documents ?

I also had a query for the post graduation. I have done this from a private institute which is not affiliated to university and also not autonomous. Will this be considered by WES and worth a try to send attested certificates of this post graduation also ?

If I get your posts right, below is the process. Please correct if wrong:

1. First I have to fill online form for Transcript on Pune University website.

2. Take xerox copies of Marksheets, online application form, challan copy and submit to University(need to take original marksheets for verification while submitting).

3. University will send Sealed Envelope to my home address.

4. This sealed envelope containing my Transcript and one copy of Degree Certificate, I have to pack in Envelope and send it to WES via FedEx (mentioning WES reference number on top of this outer envelope).
