Guys.. For extra-pulmonary tb, any idea what to expect in medical tests? I have completed 9 months of course and have note from doctor saying that i have completed and cured. Dr did not ask for any other test after 9 months.
So will just the note from doctor be enough? Do i need to get any thing else done like MRI?
Also what tests can medical panel ask me to undergo?

FEB 19- Application Sent
Mar 18- Application received
April 29- Bio request
April 30-Med request
May 2- SA DM
May 5- Bio request done
May 10-Med done
May 21,22,23 - sputum test (3rd day pre evaluation - negative results) but still need to wait for 2months for smear results.

June 25- FILE TRANSFER TO MVO
July 5- add docs (NBI)
July 18- doc submitted thru Cic.
Aug 13- repeat xray (negative for tb) I know already that I don't have one bec I didn't have any sign of having one.
Aug 16- Pre Arrival letter
Aug 27- medical passed

I'll be having my medical on Tuesday sa IOM din and due to my PTB history also last year I'm sure I'll take the sputum test. I would just want to ask how is the process? Sa IOM makati k din ba nag sputum and ikaw Yung namili ng schedule since it will be done 3 consecutive days?
Well tatanungin ka nila.kung may history ka.. then bring ur med records para alam nila na nag treatment ka. At successful sakin kasi nkalagay dun sa xray ko nq kuha nila no signs of active tb pero ung right lower lobe ko nag shrink or scar..
.. 1 day lng sputum collection ko.. 3 sputum collection 1 hr interval... Good luck. Ako mejo delayed na ako may schooling starts on october 23. Hopefully mka refund ako

Thank you, I'm glad that I read your post since my situation is the same as yours atleast now I know what to anticipate with my medical. I was able to keep all my medical records. Wla nmn po additional payment for sputum test?

It does cause delays but I hope everything will be fine for work po worry ko lang din pag na delay due to my medical bka mag hanap ng iba employer ko

Hindi k n nga aabot, Hope you'll get a refund. Anyway I just had my medical as expected form sputum test din po ako. Ask ko lang did they also took your old xray plates? Hindi po kasi binalik Yung sakin and hindi ko n din na tanong
Wala kasi ako xray films na binigay kasi faded. Na lahat medical records ko lahat simula nung na diagnosed ako. Hanggang sa complete treatment.. ano sabi sa xray mo na binigay sayo?

Kinuha lang Nila Yung xray films to compare but still since may history ako and may scar s lungs required daw tlaga to undergo sputum culture test same thing may repeat xray po ako after 3 months
