please clarify if the procedure is correct:

1. Applicant to undergo sputum collection for 3 days
2. On the fourth day, there will be a pulmonary evaluation, if negative, wait for the result of 2 months sputum culture
3. after 2 months of sputum culture, if negative, re-xray then vaccination
after 2 months of sputum culture, if positive, 6 months of medicine



Hi in my case sputum result would be after 3mos. Indicated date is in the month of sept. Where we would undergo new xray

don't worry ...... the results take 6-8wks nd if they asked u to come before 6-8 weeks the resuts may b positve but u r not called so ur results are negative .good luck

Just want to ask any furtherance applicants have their Back Ground Check changed to "In progress" after medical status changed to "passed"

It was negative how ever it says in a message sent to him that as per embassys request he needs to see a pulmonologist which i think its re xray to compare with the initial xray. He did his initial xray feb 18 and back to clinic for another xray may 19. Do you think he will do another xray?

He need to comply with their request but panel physician/pulmonologist decides if he needs to go for re-X-ray or not. I don't think there will be a re-X-ray but pulmo report to cic.

Thank you. That's what i was thinking that he will see a pulmlnlogist accredited by cic for certification then send to cpc-v. This a a good news though it takes a long wait. The game is not over yet. More patience and prayers.

my mom was subjected to Medical furtherance for PTB and was cleared last January 2016.
nakalagay sa ECAS niya ay "medical result has been received". after that wala pa kaming update from CIC.
Except for an auto-generated email regarding "Pre-arrival Services". meron ba ditto sa inyo na nakatanggap din
ng katulad sa nanay ko?

ako po ang sponsor at October 2010 ko pa po na submit ang application ko for my mom. weird lang po talaga na
PPR waiting kami pero ang dumadating eh ibang email. I tried following up CIC pero they don't give me a straight
forward answer kundi in-process pa din kami.

advise lang po sa mga katulad ng case namin. maraming salamat sa inyong lahat at mabuhay po kayong lahat.

l'm wondering why is it there's no feedback from embassy besides "medical results have been submitted". Did you try to call the clinic that your mother underwent medical? maybe the embassy emailed them for further instruction. Did you check your mother's email? Spam email? Did your mother underwent medical treatment for 6 months? Or the sputum culture has negative results only?

Yes he had previous xray film with him. And submitted it to the panel physician.Last feb 2016 he had his medical and initial xray then May 2016 he was asked to come back for final xray to compare with the initial xray. Now he is back to the clinic again for the 3rd time for final evaluation from the pulmonologist of their choice. Giving me hard time, making it more complicated. Clinic never informed what should be the next process after the test. Hope everything is okay now
