Thanks for your reply..
My other question is if she will pass the 2nd x-ray and the sputum test found negative, what will be the next stage ? Is it possible for PPR? Coz were hoping and praying that they will be here in Winnipeg by June..
In God's will..

Don't worry, everything will be fine. My husband also did the sputum and repeat x-ray after 3 months. The sputum was negative and x-ray was stable so after the final report made by Pulmo and was forwarded to embassy, we got PPR just last Feb 16 (almost 2.5 months after repeat x-ray). We're now just waiting for our visa.

Goodluck to us!

Tnx for the info.. It takes 2.5 months before PPR? It takes a long wait, I thought June is the soonest month for my sister to be with me here in Winnipeg. Anyways better waiting than nothing.

It might not take that long for your sister, just hope and pray. Some took only 1 month to received PPR, I know someone, it took 5 months so no one can tell. It will come in His perfect time.

God bless!

Yes. He will be called for sputum test because of the scar in the X-ray. I am having similar situation as your husband's. I had PTB in 2008, cured in the same year and doc certified I am completely cured, but I was called for furtherance which I attended last week.

The sputum smear will be cultured for 6-8 weeks, followed by repeat x-ray and Pulmonologist report. The entire process can be carried out within 90 days.

Oh i see thats why cic makes it 90 days. how long does the clinic contacted you for sputum test and culture after your first medical? so i can estimate the time to finish the whole process. Thanks again.

If u provide 6-9 month old x ray than they will not ask for sputum test as well subject to no changes in current and old chest x ray. They will confirm the stabilities from old and current chest x ray

this answers my question. that means my hubby will not undergo sputum test anymore. It stated on the medical certificate the medication he received for 2 months and another 4 months to make 6 months with good compliance to medication and he declared my hubby as ptb class 4 treated. And he would not do any further tests or give tb medications. then the film he showed was taken 1 year ago. I hope no more sputum test. All is well. I claim for his complete healing. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless.

My husband also brought medical certificate from his doctor, latest xray film but still requested for sputum test and later on repeat x-ray. Where did you performed the medical? We did our medical at St Lukes.
