Did anyone applied for trv to maintain legal status before pgwp expiry and got approval before applying to this wp under public policy.?

After my application on 28th, I have received a letter saying that "i can continue to work until june-2021 or until a final decision is made - whichever comes first."
Anybody recieved the same correspondence.?
My current pgwp expires on 20th march 2021.

I didn't apply with an expired status.
But, few days ago, i recieved a correspondence that i can continue working under the previous conditions of my PGWP until june 2021 or until a final decision - whichever comes first.
I think you can start working if you received the same letter.
I got an update. I received a letter on my CIC account, file name - "WP ext. except PGWP"; the letter tells me that I'm authorized to continue working until I received an update on my application but the file name says otherwise. Anyone else got the same letter? Not sure If I submitted my application wrong.
My wife who is my dependent got this same letter today (we applied on March 1). The weird thing is that I am the main applicant with the PGWP and I did not receive it.
PS: Our current permits expires in mid May only
Applied - 14 Feb with work permit expiring on 5 May
18 Feb - Allowed to work till 4 July
5 Mach - Approved, good luck everyone
