Hi, with the holiday season upon us, is anyone planning to travel while not having your PR cards? How much time are you planning to spare to wait for the PRTD?

I got my eCoPR last week, but my picture is still waiting review. I will be flying to my home country next week, and I have about 3 weeks there, I could potentially extend it to 1 month. Is it enough time to get the PRTD? When I emailed the embassy last month, they said it will take 2-4 weeks. Just wondering if any of you have experienced applying and how long it took. Thank you so much and happy holidays!

Name the country. Answer can differ from country to country. There isn't one generic answer to this question.

Impossible to guarantee anything these days. If omicron starts spiking then it may take longer. Many of the Canadian embassy staff go on vacation.

Hello everyone. I have those two questions I cannot find an answer that is explicit enough for:

  1. As a permanent resident, do I need to be working for a Canadian company, or at all, if I want to be able to reniée my PR card when it will expire? Like X amount of days over the course of its validity.
  2. As a permanent resident, is it legal https://9apps.ooo for me to work for a U.S. company, and is there any implications regarding my immigration ? For instance, will it impact my citizenship when I will be able to ask for it?
Thanks! I think I will ask a lawyer as well.

Take out the spam link out and ask your question again, if your question is real. Do not respond with “issue got solved” as your past questions are all over the map.
