1. Did you apply online?
2. Do I need to prove that I meet the residency obligation if I landed in January 2022 and only spent 10 days in Canada.
3. Did you attach a return ticket to show when you intend to return to Canada?

Yes we have to apply online since the pandemic
Yes you have to show proof of residency( check in the PRTD form which one u may need) for me, I am in Canada for almost 6 years so it was easy.
You can attach return ticket but due to COVID -19, then Afghanistan refugee application and now war they may take longer time than usual. You can mark your application urgent but you have to show a proof of urgency and still not a guarantee for fast processing. Give yourself at least 8 to 10 weeks or even 12 weeks depending on how your documents look like

I have applied in march 15 and haven't heard anything back yet. people saying it's taking 6-8 weeks. How is now, did you get prtd? How is the processing time,?

My wife's PRTS was approved as per my initial post. We already received PRTD in less than 6 weeks from the day it was applied. I wish you good luck. Do not panic until good 6 weeks has passed, email them again if you dont hear back after 6 weeks.

Hi, wehave applied since Nov 2021 and didn’t hear anything yet! Can someone help pls. It s almost 7months and a half.
