Hello all,

I applied for PRTD on H&C grounds, I received my tracking number from vfsglobal in Turkey just in 3 days ago. And now after only 3 days (two days of which are weekend!!!) I have just received an email saying that my application has been refused. It attaches a letter with full misspellings all along, saying that I have only 60 days to appeal. I have always been receiving official letters from Canadian government since my residency and this is the first time that I see sooo many errors and misspellings.

Is it normal?!! Receiving you results this fast?!! In such a crazy shape?!!

Sounds like the right format, with the 60 day appeal. What is the e-mail address it came from? Can you post a copy with your personal information redacted?

Their email address is: ankaraimmigration@international.gc.ca
The misspellings that I mentioned were due to my pdf reader problem. But anyhow I am surprised to receive the conclusion so fast, cause I read everywhere in this forum and other places that it normally takes around 6-7 months.

I find this scams , please do not reply wait for seniors to reply you about this .

It's not a scam if it came from that email address. Agree that this sounds like the standard refusal letter with 60 days to appeal.

Now would be a good time to consider the lawyer you asked about previously. Should you decide to appeal, you will need to consider that as you have been out of the country in the last 365 days, IRCC is under no requirement to supply you with a PRTD to return during the appeal process. You will need Canadian representation at this point.

That’s the immigration division at the Ankara Embassy/Consolate. Note the @international.gc.ca. That is a Canadian government e-mail address. PRTDs are processed at the local embassy/consolate.

You had been absent from Canada for over 6 years and looks like you were working in your home country and got married. Seems like they felt you didn't show proof that you qualified for H&C consideration.
