Got PRTD today. Some experience of London process in case it helps others.

Submitted 4pm Friday, emailed to say I could collect yesterday - 4 working days.

I wrote a letter saying urgent etc with flight tickets attached.

It was £23 or so on top of $50 I paid online.

The visa was issued on Monday, so delay is in processing centre not High Commission.

Multiple entry for a year.

Good information.

Since you posted this in a new, separate topic, it warrants noting here (assuming I understand your other posts correctly) this is essentially a short-landing scenario (notwithstanding presence in Canada before landing), going abroad after landing before obtaining first PR card. The fact it is a multiple entry PR TD is interesting. A good idea for new PRs in such circumstances.

Yes that's exactly right. Needed to travel within 2 months of landing, so no choice but to get PRTD from one of the countries I was in. London seems good turnaround.
