PRTD Jamaica

Hey, I am in Jamaica and have to applied for PRTD to return to Canada being that my PR expired since October. I have already sent in for new PR before I flew down here. Does anyone know how long is the processing time to get PRTD as my flight leaves on Saturday. I applied since yesterday Monday November 3,2020. Please someone anybody I just need to know roughly how long is the process.

I don't know for sure, but I really doubt you get it in time.

I hope you meet your Residency obligation tho

You applied yesterday and expect an answer by Saturday? I don’t think that’s going to happen. Check processing times but likely at least a month.

It didn’t give a specific processing time. All it said was different countries different time frame and still didn’t say a month or a week. But thanks for responding.

Yes I totally met my RO but let’s see how long i will have to be here.

Do you have usa visitor visa. If yes, you can always come through land border port of entry with the expired PR card.

I'm trying to find out the processing time for the PTRD in Jamaica, as I will have to travel next month and haven't yet gotten the PR card.
Can you please say how long they actually took to process the document?

Since you still have time I suggest you apply for emergency PR because the PTRD will take long

Hi, can anyone tell me how long it took to get the PRTD? I submitted it on August 12th and still haven’t gotten my passport back yet and I have to leave this Friday.
