We need your help.I hope you will be kind enough to give us the necessary guidance and advice in this regard.
Our elder son went back to Canada in July 2017 after continuous absence of 6 years on a PRTD, Category R-1 granted on (H&C) grounds. Presently, he is waiting to complete his 2 years residency requirement before applying for PR Card renewal.
We both parents wish to visit him on a Visit Visa for two months.I have a few questions.
1.In the absence of a Valid PR card, is our son eligible to send us an invitation letter. He has a good job, accommodation, funds etc.
2.Can his sending the Invitation Letter, without completing his residency obligation trigger any complications in anyway like being reported for not meeting his residency requirements etc.We really do not know if people who go there on PRTD (H&C) R-1 can be reported for the above reason.
3.Also, we have a younger son a PR there but having low income and living with our elder son in elder son’s rented accommodation. Should we get the invitation letter from him instead.
