PRTD from India

Hello,

I have a question regarding PRTD. I have applied for PR and got my flag polling done on September 27th, 2017. I didn't receive my PR card yet. I have to go to India on November 21st for my cousin's wedding.
1) Can I apply PRTD from India.
2)How long does it take for the processing
3)What are the requirements to apply for PRTD
4)What all documents do I need to submit

I did few years back, submitted in Bangalore and got the PRTD in 5 working days.

Hi Everyone,
Posting for future reference for others.
I applied for PRTD on April 25th at vfs Hyderabad.
Passport forwarded to Bangalore
Tracking updated on may 2nd saying passport dispatched from Bangalore.
Passport received on may 5th with PRTD with 2 Years validity with multiple entry.
(I didn’t request for multiple entry)

Thanks for the post. I'm in a similar situation and going to visit India on June 1, 2018. I haven't received my PR card yet.

I will be staying in Bangalore. Based on the above posts, can I assume if I apply in Bangalore VFS directly, I would be getting my PRTD in 10 days approx?

What documents do we need to submit? Should we submit our passport as well?

Based on the current trend you will get it in a week. Yes you have to submit your original passport.
Documents I submitted.
1. Application
2. Application checklist
3. Copy of COPR, sin number copy , Health card copy and bank statement showing address.
4. Cover letter.
5. Photos

I have a question regarding PRTD.

We would be in Canada for just a week and would apply for PRTD as soon as we reach India, how to get Bank statement in such short time?

I got my landing done on Feb 20th , Travelling back to India on April 4th and coming back on May 2nd .
I am going to apply apply PRTD on Monday 8th . will it come before may 2nd , what;'s the current processing time for PRTD now in india ?

I am in a similar situation... applying for PRTD on 12 April (VFS Mumbai) and have my ticket booked for 4 May.
