Me with my husband and one kid landed to canada in 2019 on work permit of my husband.
We applied for PR and received approval on July 2022 but ddnt received our PR CARD yet.I gave birth to a baby girl in month of sep 2022 and due to some family support and mental support we travelled back to our home country. As my husband has to join his job back In canada he applied for his PRTD and went back to canada. Now I want to go back after 15 days. My and my son’s visitor visa is still valid. Do I need to apply for PRTD??
Do I need to apply PRTD for my son’s too(3.5 yrs old)
My baby girl (7mths) is a Canadian citizen do I need to mention about her on my PRTD application???
Thanks you

Are you sure it's approved on July 2022? It's only April 2022 now.

Yes, your non-Canadian citizen children need PRTDs to fly to Canada (unless you plan to fly to the US and then re-enter Canada through a land border). And yes, you need a PRTD as well. You cannot use your COPR to travel.

Your baby girl does not need a PRTD. She will travel on a Canadian passport.

But our visitor is still valid for canada
Once you become PRs, any temporary visas are generally canceled in the system and you can no longer use these visas to travel to Canada. So while the visas show as valid in your passports, then most likely are no longer valid in the system and you would be denied boarding if you try to use them. You can always try and hope you get lucky (i.e. hope they weren't canceled yet). But given how long ago you landed, extremely high chance your visas are no longer valid.

Ohk…Thank you so much…on April 2019 I landed in Canada..n visa validity is for next 5 years
In that case your visas have definitely been canceled. You need PRTDs.

Would add that depending on when you left your baby likely hasn’t met the requirements to receive healthcare in Canada. There are residency requirements to receive healthcare in each province. You could be asked to pay back any care she has received and you may need to reapply for her health card. What province do you live in.
