PRTD application - returned - Primary identification is not provided

Hello!

I got my PRTD application returned with "Primary identification is not provided " reason.
The application had a copy of my passport and a copy of my last expired PR card.

I really can't find any infos about how to provide them in application this Primary Identification.

Does anyone had a similar situation?

I got the same issue. Were you able to resolve it? What was missing? I provided my new/old passport, driving license in Ontario, scanned COPR. Also I am not able to view the application in PR Portal. The application has Return Reason but doesn't allow me to update or add any documents to it.

I didn't receive any notification but when I log into the portal I'm also seeing the same thing. Definitely uploaded everything they asked for... Hopefully this is a temporary glitch?

The Portal is having problems! Lots of people posting very similar stories (mostly regarding missing photos for PR Cards)

@Catalin Tomoiaga have you gotten feedback from the IRCC after the return comment "Primary identification is not provided " because I saw the same on my portal today and I uploaded every document my COPR, SIN, old passport pages, new passport.

I raised a web form but no answer yet so I guess we are just waiting for them to fix it.

I applied three times, each time same response. Last time they send it back the same day.
I think I uploaded way more documents that necessary.
Asked IRCC about, they replied with general information, nothing specific.
Spoked with two consultants, they said that the applicaion contains everything.

This is outrageous. Try contacting a CBC journalist and get some media exposure on this seemingly prevalent problem. That should hopefully get IRCC's ass in gear a bit more.

I am facing the same problem. I applied for PRTD online on 1st February. Today when I opened the submitted applications page, it says "Primary identification is not provided" in the return reason while the status is under "submitted". I submitted my passport copy with all pages and my old PR card copy. I have submitted it under "urgent" processing as I have a return journey scheduled for the first of April. Just praying that I get it before March.

Its for PRTD Application and my passport is currently with IRCC. i guess it should not take more than 2 weeks

Ohh nice. Just curious. Will the whole procedure of processing of application and stamping take 2 weeks? or just the processing? SOrry, I've a return journey planned in 7 weeks and I'm shit scared if I'll be able to fly as per plan.

6 returns, last one is "Incomplete Application" and at Consent and declaration point, "incomplete" also.
Last time I applied I deleted and reuploaded all the documents and I did not had documents issues anymore (like passport copies incomplete) Does anywone had issues with Concent and declaration point?
