Proving days stayed in Canada

Hi everyone,

We landed in Canada on October 18, 2008 and stayed till November 06, 2008. I came back to have our baby and entered Canada on Feb 26, 2010. I will most probably be here till 15 July 2010.

My husband on the other hand will be entering canada on June 14, 2010 and be here till 15 July, 2010.

As per our knowledge, we should move back to Canada by October 17, 2011 unless we can prove to the officer at the airport that my husband did stay 52 days while I stayed 140 days.

We would like to come back to settle after October 18, 2011 probably by end of november. How can we prove to the officials that we have stayed here. Our passports got stamped when we entered the country but there is nothing on our passports of when we exited. The stubs of our exit flight are completely faded out so I doubt they would count.
Can any of you help me out, we do not have any receipts from our stay in 2008 but we will have receipts from out stay this year.

Do you have bank or credit card records showing withdrawals or purchases made in Canada? That might be the best proof. It is also quite possible that you will never be asked for proof. They will ask you, you tell them. If you are truthful, maybe they will just believe you.
