For proving that I made a year of work experience with three months of it being on implied, what do I have to do? Do we need to give just the refusal letter of the permit that was refused ultimately? Because it states on the permit that my Temporary Resident status expired on August 5th, 2016. If I stand absolutely zero chances with any PNP then I have no other choice but to go ahead with CEC. So, how do I prove implied status adding to a year?

Reference letter and pay subs but make sure you've at least 1 year experience and you qualify for CEC
I know, but my question is 3 months out of 1 year was on implied status before a BOWP was refused. So how to prove that?

I think you can just attach your refusal letter when applying. I honestly think with your UCI number, CIC can actually check your past applications

With UCI they will find out whether you were on implied status or not.

There is no need to tell you were in implied status when proving one year of work experience.

I applied under CEC, and I had 1 year work exp of which last 4 months were on implied status. For Canadian work exp I just provided a experience letter from my canadian employer which only had my job duties and salary.

I got the PR 3 months back and already landed. So don't tell them info that is not needed and don't make it too complicated.

Perfect, I think all of you are right. Shankar is right in that they would not want to see that information, maybe because like dell2 and lannguyen said, they will know by looking up my UCI in their system anyway. Thank you very much for your help guys, much appreciated.

Hello Raven,

I believe that work experience gained during implied status will be considered for CEC. Check this link, but it is upto the discretion of the immigration officer to consider it or not.

http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-186.html

186 A foreign national may work in Canada without a work permit

Case1: Copied the contents from the above link
(u) until a decision is made on an application made by them under subsection 201(1), if they have remained in Canada after the expiry of their work permit and they have continued to comply with the conditions set out on the expired work permit, other than the expiry date;

v) if they are the holder of a study permit and

(i) they are a full-time student enrolled at a designated learning institution as defined in section 211.1,

(ii) the program in which they are enrolled is a post-secondary academic, vocational or professional training program, or a vocational training program at the secondary level offered in Quebec, in each case, of a duration of six months or more that leads to a degree, diploma or certificate, and

(iii) although they are permitted to engage in full-time work during a regularly scheduled break between academic sessions, they work no more than 20 hours per week during a regular academic session; or

(w) if they are or were the holder of a study permit who has completed their program of study and

(i) they met the requirements set out in paragraph (v), and

(ii) they applied for a work permit before the expiry of that study permit and a decision has not yet been made in respect of their application.

Do you have any documentations that you were on implied status?

What was your status before implied status, was on study permit or work permit?

I had a work permit. PNP for Ontario had closed, I was too late to act and then did not withdraw application because if all else failed, at least there was implied status that can count. For me, the refusal did not come as incomplete. So my status ended officially on August 5th rather than April 18th, when my actual permit expired. So from the refusal letter, it is clear that I was given the benefit of implied status and told to do a restoration if I wanted to continue to live in Canada.

Hi Raven,

Recently, I attended a seminar by registered IRCC member on express entry process. He told us that after September the scores will go down and lots of ppl will be invited itseems. So don't worry things will be good for you.

What is your CRS score?

What is ur current status in Canada and for how long you can reside in Canada?

Hey Nalanda, I heard and saw that too but I am finding it hard to trust that given the recent cut offs. My score with CEC experience is 461 as of now.

I hope in that case, my CEC on implied status is considered because I was given the benefit of implied status as it says on the refusal at least.

I have had two different responses here. At the time of this writing I now have an ITA. Can someone settle this matter for me please? I need to be sure. Do I attach proof of implied status (refusal letter) with this application? Write it in LOE? Or just ignore it and go ahead as in a normal application? Anyone? Asivad? DelPiero? Thank you.

I have two months of implied status and I intend on submitting a refusal letter just to tie up the loose ends. Just think it will make it clearer for the vo
