yayyy!
Hi is it still possible to apply my spouse and child for a temporary visa to come here in Canada? I am a provincial nominee and already have my temporary work permit for my employer and my spouse and child is on my nomination certificate as a dependant. I already submitted our application for permanent resident but still don't have AOR. or is it much better if we just wait to have our permanent resident before they come here?

I havent read the Guidelines to this yet but I believe that as Long as they'll travel legally (i.e. on "temporary visa or Tourist visa) to Canada it wont harm your application provided that they adhere to what they can and can't do while in Canada.

Good luck!

Further to what znarfier mentioned - yes you can apply for them TRVs/SPs - but this will be based on your current legal status - that of a worker. Check the last sections of this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who.asp

As your nomination application status is not yet determined - no AoR yet, you having a nomination or being a PN, has no great bearing right now on the application for TRVs/SPs for your wife/kids. Your worker status will be used as the basis for their eligibility and to support their applications.
