Hi guys I have a doubt!! What's is the difference betweent PNP and other categories, if you get nominated by one province, then you'll be invited under PNP catagory right not FSW or CEC ??

What is the requirement for PNP to apply for PR?? For the province of Ontario

Under Express Entry, there are three economic immigration classes under which you can qualify to apply for Canadian PR.
  • Federal Skilled Worked (FSW)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Federal Skilled Trades (FST)

To be eligible to apply under Express Entry, you need to meet the requirement of at least one of the economic programs. Sometimes, you might be eligible for more than one of the economic classes mentioned above. The order in which invites would be sent are
  • CEC
  • FSW
  • FST

So, if you are eligible for both CEC and FSW, you will be invited under CEC.

If you do not have enough score to get direct ITA, you need to either get provincial nomination (PNP) or get an LMIA backed job offer. In either cases, if approved, you get 600 points added to your CRS making you eligible to receive ITA in the next round of invitation after 600 points have been added.

Post ITA, once you submit your documents as part of eAPR, even though you are a PNP or have an LMIA job offer, the basic assessment of your application would be done in light of the economic class (FSW/CEC/FST) under which you have been invited.

I hope this answers your question.
