I am gonna give you my timeline in case it would be of any help to you to make a guess on your own case: i received AOR from Sydney nova scotia on the march 15th 2013 (that is the date my application was checked by them and considered complete by their officer) and then my file had been forwarded to Ankara office till end of Jan 2014 when i had received instructions from Ankara to undergo our medical examinations that i have successfully done and now we are waiting next step. so (and we are talking about the federal part here, the provincial part is excluded from it), it took almost 10 months to get a med's request but also bear in mind that an strike was going on from almost April till October or so in 2013. i really do not know and cannot say whether my file was affected by it or not. but i can tell you that (from reading other forums) offices in London, new Delhi and abu dhabi are almost on the same track more or less whereas offices in Warsaw, manila, Cairo, Accra and some in south america and Singapore are faster than this. all in all depends from each applicant to another one is different.yankee said:

I was asked by the VO to send an update of PCC and military service completion - as applicable for us - at the same time that they send me medical instruction (if that is what you mean), but if you mean any other additional document other than what was already requested to be submitted with the initial application then the answer is no they did not ask me for anything in addition or extra to what i had submitted to the CIO.yankee said:

سکیوریتی چک بخشی از بک گراند چک هستش (بک گراند = سکیوریتی+ مدیکال چک+الیحیبیلیتی).قبلا به این صوزت بود که قبل از پاس ریکوئست انجام می شد اما از وقتی که تصمیم گرفتن مو رو از ماست بکشن در مورد سکیوریتی چک و همین مسئله باعث شد که خیلی ها مدیکالشون اکسپایر بشه ,دیگه این کار رو قبل از مدیکال انجام می دنainpfsw111 said:
