hey everyone , iam 18 y.o and i entered a site for ( religious) marriage and so i have found a good man and we are in a very good relationship and he talked to me about marry each athor , he is a PR in Canada and we have the same religion , culture and language and we are not so far in age , i will be going to study english in canada for a year and as soon as i get there we will marry in canada and then send a request for my PR soon after that , we could get a lot of pics in canada and we have a pics for our chat , but in our religion we cant live together before marriage so we wont have bills or like that because i will send the request right after the marriage so i can get the PR before i go back to my country after i finish my study , what do you think guys about our request will the cic likely approve it ? what should i send more than a pics and letters in chat?

I suspect one big question for them will be what sort of wedding it is... in terms of size, and particularly in terms of family support. Will you have any members of your family there for the wedding? Do they approve of the marriage? Will there be a reception? Will there be a honeymoon?

Also, are there family members on both sides, as well as mutual friends, who would write notarized letters vouching for the authenticity of your relationship?

And maybe give yourself enough time after the marriage, before you apply, to get some documents to show that you're setting up your life together - get your name added to the household bills, set up a joint bank account, that sort of thing... I mean, you can download the application documents any time you like, so it might be useful to look at the sorts of questions they're asking you both. And also think about whether you'd prefer to apply inland or outland - I'd say there are definite advantages and shortcomings to each. With inland, you get to apply for a work permit (though that might not apply if you're studying anyway) plus any interview you got called in for would be in Canada. With outland, you have flexibility to travel and you have the right to appeal a negative decision. That is to say, the disadvantages for inland are that you can't travel and you can't appeal if they say no, and for outland you can't work and you might get called back for an interview whether your local visa office happens to be.

Hope this helps!

Don't get married right after you arrive in Canada. This will be the first time you two meet in person, so spend some time getting to know each other in real life. You do not have to live with him. If your religion does not even allow you to date him, I still would not get married right after coming to Canada. Go on supervised outings if unsupervised ones would not be acceptable.
This is for two reasons: your own safety, and to increase the chances that CIC will approve your application for PR. They are suspicious of marriage where the couple married at their first meeting. If this is normal in your and his home country, then it will also be acceptable to CIC, but at the same time CIC will then expect to see you following other cultural norms, such as a big wedding ceremony with family present (if this is the norm in your country).

Dating 2 months before marriage is not long enough for some visa offices. Especially when it's long distance. Not the same as seeing each other every day. You will need alot of good proof. Too bad about your family.
