Prove for close relative

Hello, in your Manitoba Provincial Nominee program, there's a part that requires you to specify if you have relatives or not. How is the relationship between you and the individual confirmed since close family members could bear different last names. It just scares me cos I might loose points if I'm unable to prove this.

In order to be a Manitoba Supporter, an individual must be:

• Able to provide documents proving that he or she has been living in Manitoba continuously for a minimum of one year;
• A Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
• Able to demonstrate sufficiently close ties to the applicant and the province;
  For close relatives, both the applicant and the supporter must provide documents proving their familial relationship.
  Close relatives are considered to be those related to the applicant (or the applicant’s spouse) in one of the following ways:
  Sister or brother,
  Niece or nephew,
  Aunt or uncle,
  First cousin,
  Mother or father,
  Grandmother or grandfather.
• Able to demonstrate that any applications they previously supported resulted in successful, permanent economic establishment in Manitoba;
• Able to support the applicant’s Settlement Plan.

Paid immigration representatives and Canadian elected officials and their staff cannot be Manitoba Supporters. Children living in Manitoba cannot support their parents; instead,

I am filling my full application for MPNP. I select other in my relative details tab.(Brother in law) my sister's husband would be my supporter.
However when I click on Review and Submit tab,it shows my validation error on relative details tab. and says missing information.
I have sent an email to them,but no response as of now.

Could anyone guide me how to handle this case?

My Sister's brother is me.My supporter is Sister's husband(my brother in law).For that relation we can mention as brother rather than selecting as other.

I don't think I agree completely to this idea because if you select as brother, your surname/last name will contradict. How can you put brother when his surname and your surname is not the same?
