I applied for WP extension this week, checked pr times, it says 56 days
What is real processing time these days?

I applied May 29 they finish to process mine July 21. I am just waiting for them to drop it in my mailbox.

I have not received NOD, you can extent 3 months before
No applied on my own, it is easy, not sure about PR online process, I guess it will be the same idea

You can try to apply PR by yourself. The information on the form is almost the same as the claimant form.
