Proposed changes on off campus work permit for international students

Whats the latest news on proposed changes on off campus work permit that was supposed to be effective from January 1, 2014? When would it come in effect? Is there any possibility to come in effect from May??

Seriously, when they are ready to let us know IF the proposed changes take effect, then and only then will we know. If they don't take effect, everything stays the same.

1=WHAT THE AVERAGE INCOME DOES INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS MAKE WITH PART TIME JOB IN MANITOBA?
2=IS MANITOBA IS A GOOD CHOICE FOR GETTING PR CARD AND CANADIAN NATIONALITY?

$14000? Is that on top of your tuition fees?

Part time job, 20hrs/w x $10/hr - deduct taxes. You do the math.

Canadian citizenship has nothing to do with which province you are settled as a PR. Citizenship is dependent on how long you have been a PR in Canada.

New proposed proposal, you have to stay in CANADA for 4 out of 6 years and minimum 180 days/year for applying Citizenship that is increased from the existing 3 years :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
