hi friends,
can i show property which is owned by my grandfather. Actually all property is on his name. Dad also purchased land and transferred to him. estimated value of property is 1.4 crore.

Yes in that case your grandfather needs to be a co-applicant or a guarantor .

You will do the valuation for bank right?
so the bank has a panel and they will provide you with authorized people whose valuation is considered by that particular bank, so you will get the info from bank

no..not from the bank...from an advocate... i have seen people mention on this forum about taking valuation from CA firms or local architects... so is that approved?

Yes, property valuation from CA firm or local architects is required for showing home ties and in my case property is on the name of my grandfather. Do i need to transfer this property on my father's name before applying for visa or is it ok if its on my grandpa's name?
