Proove your ties at home country (country of origin)

Hi I m about to apply for a work permit (I have all nessessary documents LMO , Contract, IELTS etc) and was wondering what exactly constitutes " home ties". If I understand correctly it's one of the top reason for a WP or TRV to fall through (because you dont satisfy the officer that you have somewhere to return after your study-visa, WP ore whatever you have expires). Anyways, regarding my perticular situation, I m married, both me and my husband are going to canada but apply for the WP sepparatly which means I have to present my case separatly from my husbant's. I have the following I consider "home ties":
  • Both mine and my husbant's families live in the country of origin
  • I have a bank account whith some money but no physical equites (house etc)
  • My husbant has a larger bank account and some physical equities mainly rural (no house though) (can I use my husbants equities or family as proof for my ties?)

So the question is more like what sort of documents are acceptable by an official as proof of
  • Family in the country of origin
  • Equity ownership
And do the ties my husbant can proove for himself also apply to me (can I invoke ties to my husbants family and to my husbants equities)?
*(when i say "my husbant's" I mean it's under his name not under mine)

These are considered as home ties:

1) a home in the home country;
2) a spouse or common-law partner or dependants who stayed in the home country;
3) personal property in the home country, such as a car or furniture; and social ties in home country

1) We have no home on our name my husbant only has some non-residential equitis (farm)
2)We are both going to canada so none of us is staying behind and we have no dependants or kids(yet ;))
3)We have no car or furniture on our name. THe only property we own is about 10 square Km of rural area (farming fields)

It's all so vague... What constitutes a social tie? I m a member in the greek BJJ comunity as an athlete but surely that would not be acceptable as social tie..

the question remains, how one can proove social or family ties?
Do we need copies of our family members id's and theyr adresses?

1) A leased home still counts. Own a home is not necessary.
2) I suggest you and your husband apply WP/TRV one at a time, so that it will appear that you have family ties in home country
3) Assets (farm and company equities) also counts.

Examples of social ties include: Evidence that family members back at home depend on them for financial or other support, and must meet their social obligations to these family members. If you financially support your parents, then show those proofs. I suggest you carefully read the application forms whether you need your family members' address.

We live in my husbant's parents house (it's big enough, and with the crysis and all we thought it prudent not to lease a house since we are trying to go to canada...) we dont actually own the place we live in...

Applying separatly is an excelent idea though I suppose we cant hide that for long since eventually we will both apply..
Would you say a list of 1st degree relatives with names addresses would count as "home ties"? I mean if the case is that the immigration officer wants to see if we would have a contingency plan to fall back to if we were to leave canada...

The only relatives that really matter are a spouse or children being left behind.

???? So if you are unmarried (or married and plan to take your spouse with you) and without children you ll be denied the visa?? that sounds kind of unfair.. :'(
