Hey guys,
I'm sponsoring my wife (i'm already approved by CIC) and last Thursday we received the following letter from the Visa Office.
Now, I am confused because they write this to my WIFE. (Ms.). So they asked the sponsored person to provided a financial proof of available funds... We are worried because my wife does not have any money. She is a housewife and even last year when she was working, she did not have any bank account since it was not an official work.
I think the only thing we can do is to give them a bank statement but if we give mine, would it be okay? and I don't have that much of money myself on my account ( 3-4 thousand) ...
Should I send them the same documents I sent to CIC with my plan after our arrival. reference letters from employers and all that ? what if they want ONLY my wife's bank statement... should i transfer quickly some money on her account? Is this really necessary, I thought that financial support was not mandatory for sponsorship applications..
Any help from you guys would be very much appreciated.
