[flash=200,200][/flash]Hello,
It seems to be hard to prove that after living 4 years abroad the sponsor (she), unemployed, without the job offer, without any real estate neither car in Canada, nor membership in any organization or any subscription to school will come back to Canada where she used to live over 10 years.

What other kind of documents can I present to prove that I want to return to Canada ASAP my common-law partner gets PR. We are living abroad with our child born here for almost 4 years. I have had intention to return from the moment I realized I am unable to adapt myself to his country (Mexico) so almost from the beginning. I will right te honest letter about my isolation and fear situation however CIC likes DOCUMENTS!!!! What can I show them (other than what I have: my recently renewed driving licence, RRSP sttatement, bank statement) to convince that I really want to live in Canada with my familly in the future?.

I would appreciate any help on this one. I don't want to be rejected as a sponsor only because I cannot prove the truth.

You should be OK... don't worry too much about documents,
the most important thing that you can do is to be honest and
state your situation and intention,
The fact that you live in fear in Mexico and that you are not adapting
is a huge statement that they will consider.

Just be honest about your feelings and use all the necessary paper
to explain why you want to return to Canada.

Everything will be OK, your honesty will make the difference,
not the papers....

Good luck,,

Some people contact real estate agents to inquire about housing in the area they intend to live in, and send printouts of these emails. The more specific the better (mention your budget, whether you want to rent or buy, the area you're interested in, etc.). I've also heard of people contacting recruiters or HR people and sending printouts of these emails. We all know that without really knowing when PR will come through, you don't know when you want to rent a place or start working, so these emails are kind of futile... but that's what people seem to send CIC so I guess that's what CIC wants to see. Good luck!

Yes, makes sense. Thank you :)

I have already package of emails contacting property management offices, my resume, list of potential jobs listed online that match my qualifications. Kindergartens in area I plan to live, All is potential...no firm contract or agreement (obviously I cannot sign nothing without knowing when my spouse will get the PR) .
Any other suggestions???
I noticed I am loosing common sense i this overdose of researches.

I know the feeling - applying for PR is a foray into Paranoialand!!!

I'd print out all your research and whatnot and send it to them. We all know none of it is concrete, but CIC just likes to make you jump through the hoops... sometimes you have to do things just so that they can tick a box, not because it makes practical sense. Good luck!
