There's a lot I could say about this portion of the application, but I will restrain myself and keep this minimal.

Hypothetical situations here:

What if I were to submit--as proof of my intention to re-establish in Canada--a photocopy of a rental agreement &/or a job offer, but, on my return to Canada, conditions surrounding the apartment rental &/or job offer changed/fell through, and I had to rent/work somewhere else?

Is the government going to follow up on this information, request receipts/pay slips/look into my taxes to confirm I'm living and working where I said I would be?

I mean, stuff happens, what if the landlord decides to sell the house I was planning on renting and I am no longer able to rent there? What if the company I get a job offer from decides they don't need me after all, hires somebody else, or goes bankrupt?
