Just found out that my HR department won't provide a letter to include my duties and responsibilities, and my manager can't provide anything on letter headed paper.

HR will provide the letter with everything else I need on it.

I really don't want to ask my manager for a letter because I don't want her to know my plans. It wouldn't go down well as she's just put me through a promotion.

For the duties and responsibilities, I have these on the detailed job description that I applied to which was on our job board, for both my current role and previous one. This is on a company headed template. These correspond to the offer of employment and my contract which I have too.
Also before that I was on the graduate programme and I've got signed objectives and performance reviews from each manager detailing my duties and then how I performed against them. These aren't on headed paper but I have the emails from each manager showing them sending me the completed forms.

Would the job description advert and the review forms substitute for a letter? Anyone else had anything like this? Anything so I don't have to reveal my plans?

Thanks

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Ideally provide proof that your HR department is refusing to provide duties/responsibilities, added to that you can add a LOE along with whatever documents you're using to prove those.

As to whether this will work, the answer is maybe.

Thanks very much
I have the email they sent to say they won't provide the duties and I'll ask them to include a sentence in their letter as well.
And yeah I'll explain it all in my own LOE too.

Company been going through a lot of redundancy as well so hoping that I dont have to tell my boss until we're all approved and ready to go!
