Proof of upfront medical exam (required) no longer with me

Hi everyone, I am applying for a second visitor's status extension. I checked "medical exam submitted" box as I had already done a medical exam in July, due to the request of my first extension application.

Now I'm asked to upload a document called "Proof of upfront medical exam (required)", but I don't have it any more (if it is what's described in 4.1 here https://www.getgcms.com/blog/medicals-preparation-expect-diagnosed-ailment-comprehensive-post/). I remember being given that slip but had long thrown it away as I didn't know what to do with it. Neither did I request a copy of the medical exam result for myself. I know it's silly! But what can I do now? All I know is the time and which clinic I went to, and a bar code of an empty "CLIENT BIODATA AND SUMMARY" form.

On the other hand, my visitor's record states that I "return my application AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE" the expiry days of my extended status, but tomorrow would be the 30-day ddl (the expiry date being Nov 21st). What if the incident (making up for a new "proof of exam") prevents me from submitting tomorrow? What would happen? And how should I cope in that case?

Thank you so much.

Nothing happens. You can apply for an extension up until your status actually expires.

followup: I called the clinic early next day, and they sent me the confirmation through email right away after verifying my identity. In case you're in a similar situation, don't panick : )

^ Good to know it worked out. This was the second most logical thing to do, after making personal copies of important documents before submission. Even if you have to take a picture on your mobile phone.

Hi,

Same situation here. But I have past medical completed Information sheet. Can you please let me know what proof of medical document you included. Is it just the Information sheet or also the IRCC email of previous medical approved details to be attached?
