Proof of this person’s Canadian citizenship

Hi!
My wife is applying for a PRTD and due to answering some questions regarding travel as accompanying a Canadian Citizen (me) during travel, she got this message asking to submit Proof of my Canadian Citizenship. Just wondering if the Canadian passport will suffice as proof or if we need to submit the Canadian Citizenship Certificate itself.
