Proof of Status Under Family Class

My wife is at this part of the applications where she needs to upload her supporting documents but this one is a bit confusing.



Here it is asking for documents like Canadian Passports or birth certificates however she is Chinese and hasn't visited Canada yet. Now it's saying at the bottom of this info box that because this is a Family class application the proof of status should be from the sponsor, (that's me). Does that mean I should provide a scan of my passport and that's it?
