Proof of setlement funds

Check your visa office specifications, some visa offices are accepting property as POF and some not. Normally they want cash in bank, no property. Stock fluctuate all the time, how can its fix value can be assessed. There had been cases where the visa had been declined on the ground that POF is short by $100.
Most of asian visa offices do not consider property as POF, if it is given they ask for POF again.

Can you please solve the following confusion for me. I received interview waiver and medical forms from the Canadian Embassy. The letter also states that I have to prepare the proof of funds, but do not have to send it until further notice (let me also point out that I provided my proof of funds while submitting the full package of documents). The last paragraph of the letter provides that upon receipt of satisfactory medical results, all outstanding documents and upon completion of background checks, they expect to complete assessment of my application (so, they do expect to receive certain documents from me).
At the same time, they also attached to the letter the proof of settlement funds form which indicates that I have to fill it in and attach suppotying documents.
Now I am worried that they may actually expect me to send the proof of funds documents before they can proceed further with my application.
Can you please advise me if I should send them the proof of funds documents?

3 MONTHS old savings account statement is enough, even fresh funds are enough if you explain it that you got it by selling your property.

money is a GIFT from Father to Applicant for his personal usage for immigration?

I was advised in the letter that i needed to prove that any large deposits into the account was indeed mine (i guess this was to avoid my friends and family boosting up my account for the POF ) so you may be asked to explain where the USD10,000 came from and how it is yours
