I dont want to be a hassle to you but instead of printing onto MS word cant i just print to paint? Thanx!
actually screenshots (images) r better than copy/paste in ms word....some embassies could think that we wrote it ourselves, not that the chat actually happenned...yes it really sounds ridiculous but if they think like that it means that some did it

these are the items we are showing as proofs of our relationship:

1. marriage certificate
2. certificate from local priest
3. around 120 photos of engagement, wedding , reception, honeymoon, places we visited, other photos with our family members
4. wedding and reception invitation cards
5. phone call and skype chat records showing call duration (on an average we talk around 2 hours everydays)
6. wishes from our friends in facebook
7. list of guests attended on reception with their phone numbers
6. emails
8. receipts of gifts from the family memebers given to us
9. receipt of community center booking for reception
10. description of our relationship from both ends, and reasons why she wants me to join her in canada.

do we have to add more proofs? your advices will be highly appreciated
Actually 1. marriage certificate and 2. certificate from local priest are not regarded as proof or relationship by CIC for the purposes of spousal sponsorship application.

I had included a copy of our marriage certificate with our application; after which I saw on our documents checklist that our specific visa office would ONLY accept original copies of PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP documents. I was very worried and considering sending out the original of our marriage certificate but decided to call the contact center first. They told me that marriage ceritificates and stuff like that are required under "IDENTITY AND/OR CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS" or something else like that depending on the region. They said that proof of may include all that other good stuff that you had listed on but not a marriage certificate or stuff like that.

I tried to make the argument that I thought a marriage certificate should be NO 1 proof of relationship. She ended up telling me to send it if it would make me feel more at ease with our application, but repeated that this document may be required as proof of status but NOT proof of relationship. She said for the latter, CIC wanted to see how our relationship had developed till present or something that.

This is the legal proof of your relationship. Other documents will add value, but without marriage certificate your phone calls, plane tickets, honeymoons are just nothing.

Really???

Based on that logic, I guess common-law or conjugal partners can all go to ****.

The Lexicon Webster's dictionary may agree with U. Fortunately for the lovely people applying under these 2 categories, the information I received from the people set up to answer these questions (The Call Centre) says different.
Not me, just The Call Centre.

Just a reminder of my original post: Marriage certificate and certificate from local priest are not regarded as proof or relationship by CIC for the purposes of spousal sponsorship application.

Like I said earlier, I made the same argument as Urself to the Call Centre agent and was told in VERY SIMPLE ENGLISH that I was wrong! For a different immigration purpose or application type, maybe. But for the purposes of spousal sponsorship application, I think I choose to work with information received from the Call Centre. And that is not to say that U will not include your marriage certificate in a spousal sponsorship application; it is just required under a different head.

I do hope that I am wrong, but…
7 of 11 proofs are about wedding? Well, they (in VO) already know that you are married, you have a certificate. And you had a reception with guests and all.. and of course they brought gifts.
I just want to say that if it was my app, I would make sure that there are more other proofs, that show time spent together. Photos of some other occasions, that prove relationship –and not proof of the fact that you are married.
Of course, since I don’t know your history… if wedding + honeymoon is the only period that you spent together, than skype + emails must cover everything else… if that is the case - print a lot! because that would be a proof of relationship.
As I said, I hope I am wrong, I'm just telling you what I would do.
Good luck with your application!
