my husband has invited his father to visit us in Canada from Jamaica and we have no proof of relationship. What can we do to complete that document prior to the 60 day deadline for submission?

Your husband's birth certificate showing the name of his father is an example of proof of relationship.
Unfortunately his birth certificate doesn’t name his father this is actually very common In Jamaica... we need another solution besides this
He can go to a high court in Jamaica for an affidavit showing he was born of xxxx and xxxx
Cant remember the format but when my birth certificate got burnt. I had to go to court for them to issue me another one
Ok do you think he could do that through the Jamaican embassy in Toronto he can’t go to Jamaica before the 60 days is up on the visa application. Could we upload a letter explaining the situation to the online application in Replacment of that document for now?
Which ever which way, if it is possible over there then he should otherwise I dont know any other way. The court thing is the easiest way I knw or better still attach the birth certificate with a letter telling them with reasons that his name doesn't and why appears on the birth certificate
