So the new application package for sponsoring your spouse has no more than 10 pictures and 10 pages of chats listed on the checklist as the max to include

Anyone know if this a a hard rule? Would CIC reject applications that go over whats stated on the checklist?

Also, there are two addresses listed on the CIC web site to mail the application to. Which one do I use if I was using Canada Post vs Fedex, UPS, etc?

It's not set in stone and they will not reject the application for sending many pictures or chat logs. You can send 20 or many pictures and chat logs if you want. I sent about 80 pictures and 150 pages chat logs.

I used the below address and I also used Canada post to mail my application,

I wouldn't go over the limit that they have expressly mentioned. There is no reason to challenge it. Going against the limits set by CIC is not advisable.

We included 20 or so with the new forms. 10 from our wedding and about 10 throughout the years of us dating, with friends, etc.

I am curious do they want text and chat logs If we do not add that is that OK but if it is inland spousal sponsorship do they want it. We do taxes together joint account credit cards costco and on his benefits

I say include it, can't hurt. We didn't actually include many chat/text logs, a little bit of FB message logs but that's about it really. We provided proof of my wife as a beneficiary on my retirement/stocks account, we included pictures, a notarized letter from my parents confirming our relationship is true and valid and explaining how we met, when they met my wife, etc... We also included any boarding pass proof, tickets to shows, stuff from wedding, and previous Christmas/birthday/wedding cards from both us and friends/family.\

For inland I'm sure you two share bank accounts or joint accounts so you're in business. We're outland so we didn't share much yet since we don't live together. I know if you're common law they want even more proof.

I say include it, can't hurt. We didn't actually include many chat/text logs, a little bit of FB message logs but that's about it really. i got approved of sponsoring my husand, thru inland sponsorship on March 10,2017 our journey started on December 15 2015 we used a lawyer so on march 6 2017 she forward this to me for husband the wording was like in order to continue working on your permanent residence application we need proof of relationship, we found out he passed criminal and background checks plus medical plus he put his son as a dependent so they gave us a medical request it is gonna cost 700 euros we got taxes option c for last year this bank stuff 4 notarized letters and pics and etc but I am not sute about chat logs cause he's in Canada plus inland sponsorship

If CIC give you a limit, you should stick to it.

They included that limit for a reason. If you exceed it, best case scenario you're irritating your case officer, and increasing their work load. Worst case, they send it back because you couldn't even read and follow simple instructions.

I concur, with the amount of supporting documents applicants have to now provide, ten (10) photographs is sufficient.
