Hello everyone,
I am applying for my common law inland application and it's asking me for the photos of me and partner. Maximum 20 photographs (taken at different times and places), I have six pictures of us together. My partner doesn't like taking much pictures. how many pictures should be enough?

It's also asking for the letters from family and friends. how many letters should we upload?

As many pictures as you possibly can. You’re partner not liking to take pictures isn’t going to cut it with IRCC, common law sponsorship is looked at with a fine teeth comb so you guys better get it correct or else you’ll be scrutinized for everything. As many letters of supports as possible, not one or two more they need to see that the relationship is genuine.
I know for a fact I’m going through the same thing and they’ve requested more and more so many times.

It's up to you to make the best case you can; there's no golden rule for how many photos together (most people have hundreds or thousands if they live together and have to be told no more than 20).

Families and friends: you'll have to use your own judgment. If the rest of the proof is strong, perhaps not needed, except to address particular gaps. One to three enough in almost all cases. Maybe you can ask those people if they have photographs of you/your spouse (at events or with them to show broader relationships).

He has a huge family and friends here so getting letters is not an issue. With regards to the pictures we can always take more right.

We submitted 10 pictures. Five were from different places and times over the 6 years before we got married, 4 from the wedding with different family members and friends, and one from our honeymoon. I can't say for sure whether 6 would be enough in your case, but you certainly would not need all 20. You definitely want some photos with each other's family and friends if possible because one of the expectations is that you present yourselves as a couple to the important people in your lives.

We have pictures with his family and we also attended one of his friends reception and they took pictures, I can ask them for that picture.
