Proof of relationship - Is it Ok if I submit scanned photocopies?

Hello, this may be a dumb question. I'm trying to prove my relationship to my uncle for Express Entry. Unfortunately, he doesn't have any original documents (marriage or birth certificate) at hand that could serve me. He does have a photocopy of a notarized marriage certificate showing my grandfather's name. Would it be fine if I submit it along with my father's birth certificate?

In absence of your uncle's birth certificate,I think you will be OK with any official documents that can prove a relationship. So I belief you will be fine with it. You can also add a letter of explanation to that effect.
