Hello guys, I just have a quick question regarding the proof of Relationship thingy on the ITA. So quick BG here, my brother is a citizen here in Canada and he already sent me his passport copy.
So my question is since me and my brother don't have our DOB certificates from back home what other ways I can prove this relationship ?

Can't you guys get a copy if them? Do you have any other legal document that includes your parents names to show you're siblings?

Thank you so much for your reply kryt0n I have my passport which shows my parents names but in the Canadian passport it doesn't show the parents names :( and I can't get a copy of Date of Birth as there were no records maintained in the places we born.

The CRS does not give points for siblings. If you meet the criteria of skilled worker - 67 /100 without sibling You can explain in application that you are unable to get birth certificate to prove relationship .

i have the same question...but for me,my aunt is living in canada...

as far as i know,i have to provide the following:
- her pr card
- a utility bill under her name with address
- birth certificate of both of us?

im not that sure about the birth certificate on how it will show my reletionship with her though.

any thoughts?

I got the ITA under CEC and I do have more points than 67 tho.

Maybe I'll just include my brother's passport and and affidavit that was drafted by my parents and submit an LOE I guess?

You can remove him from your application and explain the difficulty of obtaining the documents for proof of relationship in a LOE.

As you're a CEC candidate it won't affect your eligibility.

Thank you so much. With this immigration even though everything is clear and logical it always feel reassuring to hear from someone you know what I mean? Thanks again :)

Hi,
Under EE FSW, If you qualified and got ITA without using the sibling points and then at eAPR stage you obviously have to mention that sibling exits and give family details. I assume this is ok?
