Hi,

I have mentioned in my pre-application that I have been refused a schengen visit visa once and i had also applied for canadian PR a few years back through the old system, but my documents were returned as my NOC wasn't matching with my service letter at that time.

Should i upload the rejection letter copies also for proof as the reasons are mentioned in the letters? since i mentioned that i can also provide the letters as proof. Although they have not asked to upload any such documents.

Please guide me.

Hi wow777,

It would be best to mention the reason in brief in the Provide details part of the Statutory Questions section and attach the visa refusal letter in the LOE section. You will have to mention the same in Schedule A form also.

Thanks and Regards,

Thanks Pravan!!!

I did mention briefly in statutory questions in the pre application. What is a Schedule form-A?

Should my LOE be a merged PDF of all sub LOEs? only that way i cant attach the complete letters in PDF. I was thinking we need to upload a word file for LOE.

Download Schedule A from below link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5669E.pdf

Fill it for both primary and secondary applicants, sign it and scan it. This document have a question if your visa was every refused and there you can specify yes with details. I ll also suggest you to write an Letter of Explanation and mentioned there that you are attaching copies of the refusal letter.

Merge Letter of Explanation along with refusal copies and Schedula A, and submit. Anyways there are going to ask you to fill Schedule A latter.

I did exactly same thing as i had a US visa refusal.

Haven't they asked same questions from us online? Why are we again filling the Schedule-A form?
Is there any other form that needs to be filled in addition to the online questions?

Yes they asked many things, but you knows its immigration work ! If Something can save time then better to go for it. If you dont want to fill Schedule A then that fine, just make sure you write a Letter of Explanation stating that you are attaching the copies of the refusal letter. Letter of Explanation is again not mandatory but it makes the life of processing officer easy which in turn will make your life easy !!

HI,
I have read through the Schedule-A form and I'm also confused. The form seems like a repetition of the online form. Do we really need this?

They will ask you to fill Schedule A later on if answer to any of the statuary question is Yes like visa refusal of any kind to any country; and filling it will save you time. But apart from this there is no advantage of filling the Schedule A earlier.

I was refused a schengen visa long ago, too.
I gave an explanation in LOE, attached the copy of rejection letter and translation for it cause it was not in English.
In my GCMS notes there was a note "PA said yes to a statutory question and attached a doc# as an explanation"
So more or less, they would like to know it and it's a good idea to add this letter.

Thanks for clarifying that for me.
