Proof of property

My invitee is currently residing with her aunt and uncle in Malta (no property taxes in Malta). How can she prove that she is living with them?

She can prove she is living with her aunt because she can get her aunt's marriage certificate (they have the same last name). And then she can prove that her uncle owns the property with whatever papers he has.

She's applying for a visit visa, isn't she? Why do you need proof of property? What visa office is she dealing with? Is it part of the requirements asked for to be submitted with the application?

As I understand, with a guest visa, I have to prove I have property so that they can see she has a place to stay.

As I understand, with a guest visa, I have to prove I have property so that they can see she has a place to stay.

Guest visa/visitor visa/tourist visa- they are all the same. If you are sending her a statement of undertaking, having a place to stay (not necessarily owned by you), enough funds to support the visit and then some would be enough. You on your part does not have to do much except that you are here either as citizen or PR. Your letter of invitation (actually a notarized undertaking would be better), an ID to show your status in Canada. For her, ties with her place of origin- a good and stable job is the best tie, Bank Certificate (hers) to show she's in a capacity to do the trip (even if you have shown funds to be able to support her during her visit).

She's in Malta now living with her aunt and cousins. In order to show ties with her place of origin, I suggested that she get her aunt's notarized birth certificate (they share the last name) and her aunt's proof of property where she stays (her aunt owns the house).

She has a good and stable job at a big fashion retailer (the letter of employment and leave of absence is real good), bank certificate and capacity to do the trip.
