Me and my partner are currently filling out some forms for her to sponsor me and for me to become a PR of Canada.

One of the questions we are struggling with, it states... "Provide proof that you and your partner are planning on living in Canada once I become a PR"

We are fully intending on living in Canada once I get my PR but how on earth can we prove that now? We are currently living in England and are looking at apartments and stuff but I'm not sure that would be classed as proof?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Proof of job applications, so contact with employers, as well as proof that you're looking for homes like contacting people about that, also you can write a letter of explanation about your plans, stuff like that

Great! Thanks for your help.

Just another quick question for yourself or anyone that reads this.

We are currently asking friend and family to write letters to prove that they are aware of our relationship and what not.

What kind of stuff do they need to put in the letters? and who do they address the letters to? (As I'm assuming, we just send the letters with the rest of our application, by post)

Thanks

1) What kind of stuff do they have?
2) To whom it may concern:

you should put in how they know sponsor or principal applicant, how they met them, experiences of the couple together that basically show the relationship is genuine, stuff like that. and just address it "to whom it may concern".

Thank you for your information again!

Just hoping we've done everything right on the forms so I don't get disapproved

Oh I know that feeling. Triple check that you signed and dated everything that needs that on it, lots of applications get sent back over missing signatures

If they are sent back due to mistakes or missed signatures, does that mean you have to apply all over again and re-pay? or would only be if you didn't get approved.

Also, have you also moved to Canada or have you moved away from Canada, if you don't mind me asking your circumstances.

You'd have to reapply, but not repay. Just basically updating the forms and sending the application back again.

I moved to canada, I'm the principal applicant and my boyfriend is sponsoring me. I came to canada in 2019 on a working holiday visa, now we applied for common law sponsorship in may

Ahhh nice, very similar to me then, I plan on going to Canada in November with my Fiance. But I'll be going there on the ETA until I get approved, which is going to be great, money wise.
