Proof of medical exam

Can somebody please clear something up for me. My husband did his medical exam on August 17th and they did not give him that form which indicates that he completed the medical exam. They said that is will be ready in 2 or 3 days once they get the blood results back and to this day they keep giving up excuses. As far as I know, everyone is supposed to get this form the DAY they complete their medical exam. I don't see why he has to wait for the blood test to be completed and sent back to them when he is not even supposed to take these results with him.

That is a bit strange... was this a doctor in the list of designated practitioners?

I got mine the day of and the only thing I had to wait for is like 2 weeks before I had to call them up and verify it was sent and get a tracking number.

either way he should have received a form from the doctors office it consists of you filling it out all the doctor does is sign it it has nothing to do with the exam at all, it does do 2 things tho 1. it says Yes you have done the exam, and 2. lets them marry up the exam to the application. waiting for blood test should have nothing to do with it at all.

Yes , I agree it is weird. I don't understand why they are not giving him this piece of paper...Yes the doctor is listed on the CIC website. It is a doctor in Croatia.

When's the last time you have contacted them? I remember they were filling out that form A while I was doing the exam and in the end they sealed and gave me the green paper--it had one of my pictures on it that I had to bring in that day.

Make sure you get this paper. You need it to send with your applicantion
My partner had his medical done in May and the doctor he went to (a CIC designated one) insited he did not need to give my partner a form, and the doctor would send everything to the appropriate places.
It is not 3 months later and we have just got a letter from CIC saying our application is incomplete as this form was not included. We are currently in the process of getting the doctor to track down the form from wherever they sent it, but it feels like wasted energy. We will be booking the next available appointement at a different doctor and spending another 300 pounds to get this sorted! :'(

For Spousal Sponsorship you do the medical without any embassy referral because the medical must be submitted with the application. If it is your second medical that u have to redo, then u may have to wait. But if it's the first medical there is no referral needed.

They might be confused. Some visas take the medical later and so they need to wait for a referral form. Spousal sponsorship has to submit proof of medical with the application and so at that point CIC doesn't even know who we are. You need to tell them that spousal sponsorship there is NO referral needed! They're not doing their job correctly if they are denying u a medical. Maybe you should refer CIC to them as what they are doing is incorrect.
